I set up Town and Country Gardens over 20 years ago although I originally trained as a tree surgeon at Merrist Wood Arboricultural college. My fascination with plants and structure led me to horticulture and landscaping and here I am 22 years later-where did the time go?!
Head of our Gardening Department
Andrew joined us in 2009 and worked with our gardening teams for a number of years before taking over the management of the Maintenance department in 2011. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of plants, he’s been at the heart of our gardening business for over 5 years.
Head of our Landscaping Department
Petko is an excellent landscaper and very friendly even though this photo makes him look a bit scary.
In House Garden Designer
Jolyon is our in-house garden designer. Jolyon life has been Horticulture and Garden Design and he’s passionate about his craft. His scary level of knowledge and creativity means that he can design you the garden that you can enjoy for decades to come.
Landscape team leader
Darius’ taste in waterproofs leaves something to be desired but as he builds excellent gardens for us, we forgive him.
Csilla is our Office Manager and is the only person who really knows what’s going on. Thank Goodness, she works for us.
Rytis is our head gardener. His standards are so high he scares me.
One of our Team leaders
The rest of our gardening team leaders have been with us for many years, they’re cheerful and fully waterproof. Here’s Boris, our team leader of 2017!
Badger is by far the most enthusiastic employee we have and we love his commitment.
